AIR10

ATOM AIR10 — Air-Entraining Admixture

Freeze-thaw durability starts at the microscopic level.

How does ATOM AIR10 work?

Concrete exposed to Ontario winters faces relentless freeze-thaw cycling and de-icing salt exposure. Without a stable air-void system, that means scaling, cracking, and callbacks.

ATOM AIR10 is formulated to produce a tight, uniform distribution of microscopic air bubbles throughout the cement paste. These voids act as pressure-relief chambers — accommodating the expansion of water as it freezes, before it can crack the matrix from the inside out.

The result is concrete that holds up through the season. AIR10 maintains consistent air entrainment across varying jobsite temperatures, cement types, and fly ash contents — the variables that make air-entraining performance notoriously hard to control.
